Film Renovations And Lost Collections
Old movies happen to be having their own remakes nowadays. The truth is, movie remakes is the hottest fad going on today. A lot of TV shows and classic cartoons tend to be by now following the trend of undertaking a movie edition of their shows using the newest technology and a whole new visual concept to provide its loyal viewers a current version of what ever happened to their favorite TV and cartoon shows from before. I’m a fan of movie, TV shows and cartoon remakes at the same time and I’m sure there are much more good movies that may be produced if only the folks behind most films would look back further for possible box office film remakes.
Among the many film remakes that I fancy include Gone In 60 Seconds, Friday The 13th, Henry V, Day of the Dead and Meet Joe Black. Among the cartoons that I liked to watch as a kid that have been remade are Transformers 1 and 2 and G.I. Joe. I truly think that the last 3 movies are the best. Who could ever forget Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, Megatron, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons?
If you were a kid of the 80’s, you will know how much these movie remakes have created a vital relevance for each Transformers fan. Knowing that my favorite childhood cartoon was in relation to having movie remake in full IMAX format was the best news. That’s a whole lot better than the 3D gimmick that will only cost much of your money to make and also to watch. In the end, it is the full story and visual results quality is what anyone is after. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra premiered in 2009 and I certainly never thought that I’d find Hawk, Duke, the ever-famous Shana ‘Scarlett’ O’Hara and Storm Shadow again but this time it’s live action.
I recall my parents getting many G.I. Joe action figures for me when I was a kid and I think I have nearly accomplished the entire series. It just happened that I got attached with newer cartoons and I completely forgot about my collection of G.I. Joe. My parents thought that I did not like the cartoon series anymore because I was not minding my collection of G.I. Joe things anymore the way I used to. I did not even want anybody touching my collection due to the fact for me, they weren’t toys to play with. This was especially the case when we had my undomesticated cousins come over to our house and they would all drool over my collection.
Sadly, my mom gave away almost half of my collection to my younger cousins because she thought that I wasn’t interested in keeping it anymore. I had a hard time getting over the fact that in a span of one week, the action figures that I’ve managed to gather for more than five years have all disappeared in my room due to constant visitors that we were getting during the Christmas time and my mom just had to give away the stuff that she thought I wasn’t interested in anymore.
I heard that my action figures only lasted for less than a month in the hands of my younger cousins. What a pity. I assume I had to learn my lesson the hard way. If you consider something valuable, keep them in a reliable place where no one can take them away from you.
